About Scott McDaniel

Located in Huntsville, AL, I have been shooting since 2004. My start into photography was simple enough. A close friend encouraged me to purchase a "real" camera (dSLR) when I was shopping for a new unit before a family cruise. I came back with mixed results -- one outstanding shot with a few hundred average shots. But, it was that one outstanding shot had me hooked.

Since that trip, photography has become my primary hobby. Currently, I am shooting everything from portraits of my family to action shots of my friends racing at local tracks. Now with just under 5,000 shots taken, I continue to grow through continued reading, interaction on photography-related discussion boards, enhancing my equipment list, and continued shooting.

In 2007, I see photography becoming a second career for me. My primary focus will be in advertising with a concentration in buildings, landscapes, vehicles (automobiles, planes, boats), or any other shot physical item needed for a catalog or other advertising need. In addition, I will also be providing consulting services for IT infrastructure to help manage photos for enterprise businesses.
